This high-risk template or image has been protected indefinitely. It is widely used and is at significant risk of vandalism. This template splits lists up into even columns, which is handy for ordered lists. The first unnamed parameter is optional and is for setting the number of columns. If omitted, the list will be split into two columns by default. The mandatory parameter |list= takes the list.

Simple two-column list:
