To include the image in a page, use a link in the form [[File:file.jpg]], [[File:file.png|alt text]], or [[Media:file.ogg]] for directly linking to the file.

When uploading images, please make sure to follow all the guidelines:

  1. Follow the Turing Complete Wiki image naming policy.
  2. Fill in the required parameters of the {{File}} template with the appropriate information.

summary A brief explanation of what the media displays, what it contains, or what it is used for.
type What type of content this is. Can be one of the following:
  • screenshot: Screenshot (of game, etc).
  • logo: Logo.
  • map: Map, either in-game or fan-made.
  • icon: Icon.
  • sprite: Game sprite.
  • user: User's personal profile image.
  • wiki: Images for inclusion on pages, that do not better fit another type.
source If the file was obtained off a website, enter the source URL. If this file was created by the user, type "self".
license The license the original file is released under. Most screenshots and other files are used under fairuse.
